Salem Al-Shan'i, the tribal elder of Al-Salam neighborhood in Radaa city, Al-Bayda Governorate, has issued a strong condemnation of Houthi militia leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, accusing him of lies, injustice, and corruption. Al-Shan'i vowed to continue exposing the practices of the militia's followers in a video circulating on Facebook.

In the widely shared video, Al-Shan'i urged Yemenis to take action against the deteriorating living conditions, calling for what he described as a "hunger revolution." He specifically advocated for the support of women forced by poverty and hunger to search for food in garbage bins, and for teachers who have been denied their salaries.

Al-Shan'i criticized what he termed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi's governance from behind a television screen, accusing him of practicing deception and misinformation. He held the Houthi militia responsible for exacerbating citizens' suffering and worsening their economic and living conditions.

Al-Shan'i affirmed his determination to continue exposing the militia's practices, defying threats by stating, "Kill me in one minute," an expression of his resolve to persist in his criticism.
