The Yemeni government forces have reported conducting 2,200 targeted operations and destroying more than 440 military vehicles as part of the "Dawn of Yemen" offensive.

In a statement released by the Armed Forces spokesperson, the government forces announced the continuation of their offensive operations in the eastern and southern fronts. The statement emphasized achieving battlefield progress with intensive fire support, executing 2,200 precise targeting operations utilizing warplanes, drones, artillery, rocket launchers, and sniper units.

The operations targeted Houthi militia positions and facilities, including command and control centers, fortifications, firing positions, observation and reconnaissance posts, troop assembly areas, reserve deployment points, weapons and ammunition depots, and supply and transport vehicles. The statement also mentioned targeting high-value military objectives deep within enemy territory.

Strikes in Taiz Governorate specifically targeted Houthi militia convoys and reinforcements, contributing to the dispersal of their gatherings and diminishing their capacity to support their positions and reorganize their forces, according to the statement.

Initial field estimates cited in the statement indicate that these operations resulted in the neutralization of approximately 1,200 combatants and the destruction or disabling of over 440 military vehicles, including armored vehicles and transport means across various operational axes.

In a related development, the statement indicated that military engineering units on the western front are continuing to clear mines and explosive devices from recaptured sites and areas, and are securing roads and pathways to protect civilians and facilitate their return.

The government forces asserted that the targeted operations were conducted against legitimate military objectives, in accordance with the statement and in compliance with the rules of international humanitarian law and the principles of distinction, proportionality, and precautions in attack.
