Forces of the Shield of the Homeland (Deraa Al Watan) thwarted an attempted infiltration by Houthi militia elements on Wednesday in the Al-Madharaba front in Al-Wazi'iyah, located between the governorates of Lahj and Taiz. The media department of the Shield of the Homeland forces reported that troops stationed at the front, with support from the Giants Brigades, successfully repelled the infiltration attempt. Two Houthi militia elements were captured, and others were wounded during the engagement. This incident is part of ongoing hostilities in the region. Separately, a Shield of the Homeland soldier was killed and three others were injured by an explosive device in Hadramaut. Additionally, a Houthi drone was shot down in Lahj. Earlier reports also indicated Yemeni forces striking Houthi gatherings in the northern fronts of Marib and fighting in the Kahbub front near Bab el-Mandeb, where Houthi vehicles were reportedly destroyed. |
