Al-Saleh Social Development Foundation launched an orphan sponsorship project in Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen, on Monday. This initiative is part of a humanitarian program aimed at supporting children without providers and the most needy families amidst the difficult living conditions in the country. The foundation stated that the project aims to provide regular financial support to beneficiary families, contributing to alleviating their economic burdens and assisting orphans in meeting their basic needs and continuing their education. The launch of this project is part of a broader campaign undertaken by the foundation across several Yemeni governorates. This campaign includes programs targeting the most vulnerable groups, such as orphans, poor families, displaced individuals, and the sick. The foundation emphasized that caring for orphans is a primary focus of its humanitarian programs, noting that providing sustainable support to this group contributes to enhancing the social and psychological stability of children and their families.
