Houthi Militants Killed, Injured, and Vehicle Destroyed in Taiz Clash

Government forces in Taiz have repelled a Houthi infiltration attempt in the Salou front, resulting in casualties among the militia and the destruction of a military vehicle.

Military sources from the 35th Armored Brigade reported that government troops engaged Houthi militia elements attempting to advance in the Salou area, southeast of Taiz Governorate. The engagement led to the death and injury of several Houthi militants.

Artillery from the 35th Armored Brigade targeted a military vehicle belonging to the Houthi militia as it attempted to move towards the vicinity of Al-Furqan School in the Al-Sa'ila area, below the Salou pass. The vehicle was completely destroyed, and those on board sustained fatal and non-fatal injuries.

The sources confirmed that the infiltration attempt was unsuccessful after government forces detected the militia's movements and engaged them with artillery fire. Government forces maintain control over their positions on the front and continue to monitor any hostile movements.
