Airstrikes targeted Houthi militia missile launch sites and military positions in Yemen's Marib and Al Jawf governorates on Saturday, as part of escalating operations aimed at degrading the militia's military capabilities.

Local sources and eyewitnesses reported that the raids struck militia positions in Jabal Jurah in the Al Jubah district, south of Marib Governorate. Simultaneously, other airstrikes hit Houthi locations in the Al Shahla sector, east of Al Jawf Governorate.

The sources further indicated that the strikes, described as precise, also hit missile launch platforms and weapons depots belonging to the militia in the Majzar and Al Jubah districts of Marib Governorate, as well as positions in the Al Safraa area.

According to the sources, the strikes focused on military sites utilized by the Houthi militia for storing weapons and launching missiles, in an effort to weaken their military capacity and prevent further attacks.

Official statements regarding the entity responsible for the airstrikes, or the extent of human and material losses incurred, have not yet been released. The Houthi militia has also not provided details on the outcomes of the targeting.

These airstrikes occur amidst a rise in military operations targeting Houthi positions and movements on the Marib and Al Jawf fronts, coinciding with ongoing military tensions in several Yemeni governorates.
