The Republic of Yemen has expressed its strong condemnation of recent Iranian aggressions targeting Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, characterizing these attacks as a dangerous escalation that reveals a hostile approach threatening regional security and stability. The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated in a released communiqué that the targeting of Kuwait International Airport, which resulted in human casualties and material damage, constitutes a terrorist act against a vital civilian facility and a flagrant violation of the principles of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the norms of good neighborliness. The statement further elaborated that the repeated attacks on Bahrain, including the targeting of civilian objects and threats to the safety of citizens and residents, reflect the Iranian regime's insistence on expanding the scope of chaos and regional escalation, thereby undermining the security of neighboring states. The Ministry emphasized that the utilization of missiles, drones, or the employment of cross-border armed groups and militias to target civilian infrastructure and facilities poses a direct threat to regional and international peace and security, as well as to the safety of air and maritime navigation. Yemen reiterated its full solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain and pledged support for all measures these nations undertake to safeguard their security and stability, commending the readiness and competence of the armed forces and relevant agencies in both countries in countering these aggressions. The statement underscored the imperative for the international community to adopt a firm stance that puts an end to Iran's aggressive policies and prevents the use of violent tools and proxies to destabilize the region and threaten the sovereignty of its nations. |
