Several members of the Joint Forces sustained injuries on Saturday following a drone attack by the Houthi militia targeting military positions in the front lines northwest of Dhale Governorate, central Yemen. Military and medical sources from the Dhale front reported that the drone struck advanced positions occupied by the Joint Forces, resulting in varying degrees of injury to several soldiers. The wounded were subsequently transported to medical facilities for treatment. Medical sources described the conditions of the injured as stable. This attack occurs amidst the escalating use of drones and advanced weaponry by the Houthi militia on various battlefronts, as part of recurrent attempts to breach the positions of the Joint Forces in Dhale Governorate, an area that experiences intermittent clashes between the two sides. The Bab Ghalq, Al-Fakhir, and Hajr fronts, west of the Qa'tabah district, have witnessed intense engagements between the Joint Forces and the Houthis in the past hours. According to military sources, these clashes resulted in casualties among the Houthi militia. Additionally, two soldiers from the Joint Forces, identified as Mohammed Saleh and Ahmed Madeh Al-Hoshabi, were martyred while participating in repelling a Houthi assault, supported by Iran. |
