Yemeni Forces Repel Houthi Offensive in Marib, Destroying Equipment

Yemeni government forces successfully thwarted an attempted Houthi advance in the northern Marib Governorate over the past 24 hours, destroying enemy equipment and neutralizing militant groups.

A military source confirmed that the operations took place within the operational area of the Seventh Military Region. Government troops engaged and repelled multiple assaults by the Houthi militia, preventing them from gaining ground.

According to the Yemeni Armed Forces' media center, the engagements, which lasted for several hours, saw government forces, supported by fighter jets and drones, destroy Houthi fortifications and break the momentum of their advances. Artillery and rocket launchers were also instrumental in countering hostile actions.

The successful defense highlights the ongoing efforts by the Yemeni military to secure strategic areas and counter Houthi military operations in the region.
