Intense fighting has broken out across multiple fronts in Yemen's Taiz province, as government forces and popular resistance confront Houthi militias. Simultaneously, the Houthi group has deployed significant military reinforcements to several combat zones.

Field sources reported that government troops are engaged in violent confrontations with Houthi militants in the Al-Kulaiba area of Al-Ma'afer district. These forces have reportedly halted an advance by the militants towards Najd Qaseem in the Al-Masrakh district.

The sources further indicated that severe clashes are also occurring around the Yafres junction in the Jabal Habashi district, with a state of high alert prevailing in positions and hills overlooking the area. Renewed fighting between army forces and Houthi militias has also been reported in the eastern Taiz front of Kalaba, as well as in Jabal Han and the old airport in western Taiz.

In a related development, Houthi militias have shelled positions in Jabal Han and Jarrah, along with areas on the outskirts of Taiz city, amid ongoing confrontations across several axes. According to sources, the Houthi group has dispatched substantial military reinforcements to the Al-Beren area, estimated to comprise over 100 vehicles. Reports suggest a portion of these reinforcements are being directed towards Najd Qaseem, Al-Kulaiba, and Al-Masrakh.

These developments come amid a surge in hostilities across various fronts in rural Taiz. Military and combatant personnel on the front lines, particularly in Al-Hajr, the hills of Yafres junction, and Jabal Al-Rahash, have been warned of potential Houthi attempts to open or expand combat fronts.
