Yemeni armed forces spokesperson Colonel Maj. Gen. Majed Al-Nazili said the armed forces had carried out a “high-value strike” in the capital, Sanaa, and targeted 11 high-value targets in Saada governorate.

In a statement issued today, Al-Nazili said air force units carried out 27 precise and focused airstrikes across the Taiz frontlines, targeting an integrated military network operated by the Houthi militia. The targets included a missile storage facility, command-and-control centers, advanced supply and weapons sites, gatherings of Houthi fighters, as well as military vehicles and equipment.

He said the strikes targeted positions along 60th Street, Bani Omar, the Hameer front in Maqbanah district, east of Al-Wazi’iyah, Al-Ahkum and Al-Athawer in Hayfan district, as well as Al-Kadha, Jabal Nu’man, Al-Karifat, Aqabat Munif, Al-Tashrifat, Al-Aqroud, Sama’, and Al-Shaqab in Saber Al-Mawadim district of Taiz governorate.

Al-Nazili said the airstrikes scored direct and precise hits on their targets, destroying dozens of military vehicles and capabilities and leaving large numbers of Houthi fighters killed or wounded.

The armed forces spokesperson said the strikes underscored the unity of the various fronts, praising the steadfastness and courage of the people of Taiz and the armed forces. He added that Yemeni forces were maintaining the initiative and continuing to target the Houthis’ military capabilities and sources of threat wherever they were located.
