Taiz Fronts See Intensified Airstrikes and Artillery Against Houthi Militias

Several fronts in Taiz Governorate experienced a significant escalation on Tuesday, with eight airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting positions, gatherings, and military vehicles belonging to the Houthi militia.

The Taiz Axis Information Center reported that the armed forces' warplanes conducted eight airstrikes on Tuesday evening against Houthi positions, gatherings, and vehicles in the Al-Wazi'iyah district. Earlier in the day, airstrikes targeted Houthi positions and gatherings in the Al-Jund area, east of Taiz city, and the Al-Ahkum area, south of the governorate. Two additional airstrikes were carried out on Houthi positions in the Al-A'rouq area of the Hayfan district.

Government forces also utilized artillery to shell Houthi gatherings on the northeastern front. In the southern part of the governorate, artillery fire struck a Houthi military depot and gatherings of its elements in Hayjat Al-Dhi'ab on the Al-Aqrosh front. Furthermore, the armed forces shelled Houthi gatherings in Najd Al-Aqira on the Al-A'nin front in the Jabal Habashi district, west of Taiz.

These operations are part of a series of precise actions undertaken by the armed forces over the past 24 hours, targeting reinforcements and military capabilities of the Iran-backed Houthi militia. The spokesperson for the armed forces stated that their forces executed 414 operations using diverse and modern military capabilities across various fronts, confirming the achievement of their objectives, including neutralizing several Houthi militia elements and destroying their military equipment.

The Houthi militia acknowledges the substantial human losses it is sustaining, evidenced by the daily funerals for dozens of its military leaders and field elements in various areas under its control.
