Warplanes Target Houthi Military Positions Across Taiz Frontlines

Warplanes carried out around 27 airstrikes targeting positions belonging to the Houthi militia across the frontlines in Yemen’s Taiz governorate.

Yemeni armed forces spokesperson Colonel Maj. Gen. Majed Al-Nazili said the strikes targeted an integrated Houthi military network, including a missile storage facility, command-and-control centers, advanced supply and weapons sites, gatherings of Houthi fighters, as well as military vehicles and equipment.

He said the strikes hit targets along 60th Street, Bani Omar, the Hameer front in Maqbanah district, east of Al-Wazi’iyah, Al-Ahkum and Al-Athawer in Hayfan district, as well as Al-Kadha, Jabal Nu’man, Al-Karifat, Aqabat Munif, Al-Tashrifat, Al-Aqroud, Sama’, and Al-Shaqab in Saber Al-Mawadim district of Taiz.

This was followed by an announcement that 20 additional airstrikes were carried out over a three-hour period, targeting Houthi movements, reinforcements, gatherings, fighters, and military vehicles and equipment in Hameer, Bani Bakari, Sama’, Al-Aqroud, 60th Street, Al-Amour, Midi Bani Hassan, and Al-Wazi’iyah in Taiz governorate.
