Intense clashes erupted across multiple fronts in Yemen's Taiz province, accompanied by significant airstrikes targeting Houthi militia positions in the southeastern sector of the region. According to military sources, forces from the Taiz axis engaged in confrontations in the areas of Bani Bakari in the Jabal Habashi district and Humair in the Muqbanah district, located in the western countryside. Fighting was also reported on the Al-Aqrosh front in the southeastern part of the province. These engagements reportedly resulted in casualties and equipment losses for the Houthi militia. The sources further indicated that warplanes conducted six airstrikes on Houthi sites in the Al-Akabush area and on the front lines in the Haifan district, as combat operations continue across various fronts within the province. In a related development, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces stated that the military executed eight precise targeting operations, aimed at monitoring and tracking Houthi movements. According to the spokesperson, these operations led to the destruction of Houthi reinforcements, weapons, and military equipment. The spokesperson detailed that the operations included the destruction of three artillery batteries on the Al-Wazi'iyah front and a mobile air defense system in Al-Makha, which he claimed was developed with the involvement of experts from Iran's Revolutionary Guard. Additionally, Houthi commanders and elements were neutralized in the Al-Mansurah and Bab Al-Mandab areas. |
