Taiz: Houthi Casualties Moved Amidst Military and Medical Buildup

Local sources in Taiz governorate, southwest Yemen, reported on Saturday the movement of approximately 20 military vehicles and five ambulances belonging to the Houthi militia, transporting dead and wounded individuals via Al-Sittin Road towards the Al-Dhikra area, indicating a potential rise in casualties.

The sources indicated that a portion of the deceased and injured were transported to the military hospital in Al-Saleh city, while other convoys continued their journey towards Ibb and Sana'a governorates.

Doctors from Al-Manar Hospital in Ibb governorate were reportedly summoned to the Al-Saleh military hospital, suggesting the facility is dealing with a number of injured exceeding its usual capacity, according to the sources.

This movement occurs amidst ongoing tensions and military operations across several fronts in and around Taiz governorate. The Houthi militia typically imposes restrictions on information regarding its human losses and the circumstances of its fighters' deaths.
