Local sources in Taiz Governorate, southwestern Yemen, reported Saturday the movement of approximately 20 military vehicles and five ambulances belonging to the Houthi militia transporting dead and wounded individuals via the Al-Sittin road towards the Al-Thakra area, indicating a rise in casualties. The sources stated that some of the casualties were transferred to the military hospital in Al-Saleh city, while other convoys continued their journey towards the governorates of Ibb and Sana'a. Physicians from Al-Manar Hospital in Ibb Governorate were reportedly summoned to the Al-Saleh military hospital, suggesting the facility is handling a number of casualties exceeding its usual capacity, according to the sources. This movement occurs amidst ongoing tensions and military operations on several fronts in and around Taiz Governorate.
