Dalea Governor Declares State of Emergency Following Soldier Killings

Dalea Governor, Major General Ahmed Qaed Al-Qubba, has declared a state of emergency in the city of Dalea following an armed ambush that resulted in the death of two soldiers and injuries to a third. The perpetrators also seized the soldiers' weapons during the incident, which occurred as they were returning from the Al-Makhraj front.

The announcement was made during an emergency security meeting chaired by the governor, which focused on the repercussions of the attack and measures to combat ambush crimes and enhance security across the city and governorate. The meeting included prominent security, military, and local officials, as well as representatives of the victims' families.

Governor Al-Qubba condemned the attack and ordered security forces to launch a comprehensive security and military campaign to pursue and apprehend the suspects. He also mandated legal action against anyone found complicit, including those who harbor perpetrators or provide them with support.

Participants emphasized that ambush crimes pose a direct threat to the governorate's security and stability, asserting that such acts do not represent the values of the people of Dalea. They stressed the importance of cooperation between security agencies and the local community to confront and prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

The meeting also addressed the broader implications of these ambushes, which participants described as attempts to destabilize the governorate's internal front amidst ongoing military and security tensions related to the conflict with Houthi militias.
