A young man fatally shot his father and brother and wounded a neighbor in Yemen's Abyan province before being apprehended by local residents on Friday, a day after the incident. Local sources reported that the perpetrator opened fire on his father, Al-Haj Ali Saleh Al-Mazloomi, and his brother, Mundhir Ali Saleh Al-Mazloomi, in the Al-Wade'a district of Abyan province on Thursday. Both victims died at the scene. The gunfire also inflicted severe injuries on their neighbor, Faisal Sadiq Hassan Jabran, who has been transferred to a hospital in Aden for medical treatment. Residents successfully captured the suspect on Friday. Reports indicate the individual has a history of psychological issues and disturbances.
