Forces stationed in the Tuh' al-Baha sector successfully repelled an offensive launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia against their positions in the Hifan front, north of Lahj Governorate, over the past several hours. Intense clashes erupted between the government forces and the militia, involving light and medium weaponry. Artillery support played a crucial role, targeting Houthi reinforcements that had been brought to the Al-Watrah site in the Hifan front to support the attacking elements. The engagement resulted in significant losses for the Houthi forces in terms of both equipment and personnel. The defending forces managed to halt the assault and compel the Houthi combatants to withdraw from the vicinity of Al-Mimshah and Wadi Al-Sibd sites within the Hifan front of the Tuh' al-Baha sector. The Houthi militia sustained considerable battlefield casualties during the failed offensive. |
