Salah Mohammed Al-Rabeehi, a soldier in the Southern Resistance, died on Saturday from injuries sustained days earlier during military confrontations with Houthi militants in the Dhaleh front in central Yemen. Military sources informed Al-Khabar News Agency that Al-Rabeehi was wounded during battles fought by joint forces and the Southern Resistance against the Houthi militia over the past two days. He succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. The fighting fronts in Dhaleh Governorate have witnessed military escalation recently, with ongoing clashes between the joint forces and the Southern Resistance on one side, and the Houthi militia on the other. These confrontations occur amidst Houthi attempts to achieve battlefield breakthroughs in several locations. Al-Rabeehi was among the soldiers participating in operations to repel Houthi attacks in the Dhaleh fronts, which have experienced intermittent engagements for years as part of the ongoing conflict in Yemen. |
