The security and protection battalion at the Al-Wadiah crossing announced the seizure of 203 Captagon pills, 795 capsules of Pregabalin, and approximately 3.254 kilograms of opium. The contraband was discovered during a meticulous inspection, hidden in secret compartments within the truck, including a fire extinguisher used to conceal a portion of the illicit substances. The operation was attributed to heightened security vigilance and stringent inspection procedures that successfully uncovered the sophisticated concealment methods employed by the smugglers.
