The Al-Saleh Social Development Foundation has resumed the disbursement of monthly financial assistance to 1,050 orphans in liberated governorates, aiming to support vulnerable families and mitigate the impact of prevailing economic conditions. The foundation announced that its field teams are actively distributing the allocated funds to beneficiaries in the governorates of Al-Mahra, Al-Dhale'e, Marib, and Wadi Hadramawt. This initiative is being carried out in accordance with the directives of the foundation's Chairman, Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh. The project's initial phase is targeting 1,050 orphans in the designated governorates, with 100 children per governorate. These beneficiaries are children who have lost their primary providers due to ongoing conflicts. The program provides regular financial support to the recipient families. Prior to commencing the distribution, the foundation completed thorough field assessments and verification processes to ensure that aid reaches the intended recipients. The targeted governorates include Aden, Taiz, Hodeidah, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, Marib, Al-Mahra, Al-Dhale'e, Socotra, as well as the coastal and inland regions of Hadramawt. The foundation affirmed that this project is part of its ongoing commitment to orphan care and the enhancement of social protection. Its objective is to alleviate the burdens faced by families who have lost their breadwinners and to improve the living standards and stability of the beneficiary children. |
