Houthi intelligence and security forces have reportedly abducted Sheikh Taha Al-Maqali, a prominent tribal leader from the Bani Matar district of Sanaa Governorate, after raiding his residence in the capital. Local sources indicated that a security force, comprising four military vehicles and two armored personnel carriers, accompanied by a bus carrying female elements known as "Zainabiyat," raided Al-Maqali's home near the UNICEF office in the vicinity of Asr roundabout. The force conducted a thorough search of the premises. The sources added that the raiding party confiscated personal belongings belonging to Sheikh Al-Maqali and several family members before forcibly taking him to an undisclosed location. The reasons for the abduction and his current whereabouts remain unclear, raising concerns for his safety.
