General Authority of Civil Aviation Announces Reopening of Yemeni Airspace and Resumption of Air Traffic

The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology (GCACM) in Aden issued Circular No. (02-2026) today, confirming that all airports across the Republic of Yemen are fully operational and that air traffic and scheduled flights are continuing normally in accordance with approved operational plans.

The authority stated that the circular has been addressed to all airlines and international organizations operating flights to and from Yemeni airports, affirming that air navigation and airport operational services continue without interruption.

The circular also stipulates the cancellation of Circular No. (01-2026), dated July 13, 2026, with the provisions of the new circular taking effect immediately from the date of its issuance.
