Houthis Mobilize Forces Towards Al-Kassarah and Ragwan Fronts in Marib

The Iran-backed Houthi militia has dispatched significant military reinforcements to the fronts of Marib Governorate, in movements described by field sources as preparatory for a broad offensive against government and tribal positions in the Al-Kassarah and Ragwan sectors.

Tribal sources reported that the militia has amassed a large number of fighters and vehicles towards Al-Libnat camp, while other convoys and armored units were directed towards the Bir Al-Maraziq area. These extensive military preparations are reportedly aimed at escalating combat operations within the governorate.

According to the sources, the Houthi leadership believes that the tribes' preoccupation with the Al-Karama tribal dispute in the Al-Rayan region of Al-Jawf Governorate has led to the withdrawal of fighters from the front lines. This situation is perceived by the militia as a opportune moment to launch an assault that could facilitate their advance towards Marib city.

The sources further indicated that the Houthi reinforcements include new vehicles and military hardware not previously deployed in earlier battles. Some of these newly arrived assets reportedly remain in their original packaging, suggesting the introduction of advanced equipment to the operational theater in anticipation of potential confrontations.
