Tribal activist Sadiq Al-Mansouri has accused the Houthi militia of attacking and besieging his home for the second time in months in the Al-Shar'iyah district of Al Bayda Governorate, central Yemen. Al-Mansouri stated in a video posted on Facebook that the militia deployed military vehicles, surrounded his house, and fired indiscriminately, causing damage to windows and doors. He described the Houthis as "not a state and unrecognized by anyone," characterizing them as a militia focused on extortion and theft. Al-Mansouri warned that if the vehicles belonging to supervisor "Al-Sarhani" surround his home again, he will defend himself and his honor, confronting them with gunfire. He called upon the tribes of Al-Mansour, Al-Ghunaimi, and all the people of Qayfah to stand with him. These developments follow days after Al-Mansouri released videos accusing Dr. Mohammed Al-Qaisi, owner of a private hospital in Al Bayda city, of medical errors leading to deaths, and even alleging the "looting of patients' organs." It is noteworthy that Al-Mansouri had previously caused controversy months ago by posting videos accusing several individuals of practicing sorcery and witchcraft in the governorate. This led to armed tribesmen loyal to one of the accused surrounding his home at the time. The situation concluded with a meeting of Al-Mansour tribe elders who compelled him to drop the sorcery and witchcraft issue and refrain from raising it again. |
