Security forces in the Mokha district of Taiz province announced on Thursday the apprehension of an individual implicated in cases of fraud, deception, and blackmail targeting young women. The Director of Criminal Investigation in Mokha, Colonel Jarallah Al-Qardaei, stated that the department initiated an investigation following a security report. He confirmed the arrest of the suspect, identified as Muneer Mohammed Muwaffaq Al-Aghbari, within the city. Colonel Al-Qardaei further elaborated that the department has commenced interrogation of the suspect regarding a blackmail case filed by one of the victims. He indicated that the preliminary investigation has been completed, and the suspect, along with the case file, has been transferred to the Public Prosecution in Mokha for necessary legal proceedings. He emphasized that the security apparatus will not tolerate such crimes that harm families and society, urging citizens to report any instances of blackmail they encounter. |
