Security forces in the Mokha district of Taiz Governorate have apprehended an individual implicated in cases of fraud, deception, and extortion targeting young women. The Director of Criminal Investigation in Mokha, Colonel Jarallah Al-Qardai, stated that the department initiated an investigation following an security report. He confirmed the arrest of the suspect, identified as Munir Mohammed Muwaffaq Al-Aghbari, within the city. Colonel Al-Qardai further elaborated that the department has commenced the investigation with the suspect concerning an extortion case filed by one of the victims. He indicated that the preliminary investigation has been completed, and the suspect, along with the case file, has been referred to the Public Prosecution in Mokha for the necessary legal proceedings. He emphasized that security agencies will not tolerate crimes of this nature, which harm families and society. He urged citizens to report any instances of extortion they may experience. |
