Egypt renewed its support for all initiatives aimed at achieving peace and security, affirming its continued diligent efforts with Pakistan, Turkey, and regional and international partners to enhance security and stability in the region. Furthermore, Egypt underscored the critical importance of respecting the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Gulf Cooperation Council states and neighboring Jordan, rejecting any aggression or infringement upon their sovereignty. In a related development, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a phone conversation with Steve Witkoff, the U.S. Special Envoy for Middle East Peace.
