Two individuals were killed and five others injured following a shooting incident outside the Public Prosecution office in Imran Governorate, according to local sources.

The sources reported that a Houthi militia leader, identified as Sam Al-Malamahi, formerly the governor of Al-Jawf, opened fire along with his armed escorts on a group of citizens from the Al-Saran tribe. These citizens had gathered in front of the Public Prosecution office to follow up on the detention of several relatives, which had been ongoing for approximately a year.

The gunmen targeted a bus carrying the citizens, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to five others, some of whom are in critical condition. The incident occurred suddenly and in a public location.

According to the sources, this event is part of a series of escalating tensions and arrests witnessed in the region recently. The Houthi leader has been accused of carrying out raids and assaults against members of the tribe.
