Two young girls have tragically drowned after falling into an uncovered water reservoir located east of Yemen's Dhamar Governorate. A local source confirmed that the fatalities occurred on Sunday in an open pool situated in the Bani Hayyan area, which falls under the jurisdiction of Al-Hada district, east of Dhamar city. It was specified that the two children, daughters of citizens Nabil Amer Al-Hayyani and Hashed Bakil Al-Hayyani, died successively after one child reportedly attempted to rescue the other. This incident mirrors a series of similar drownings that have afflicted numerous governorates across the Republic in recent weeks and months, resulting in dozens of fatalities, predominantly among children.
