National Resistance Forces Suffer Casualties After Houthi Attacks on West Coast

Ten soldiers from the National Resistance sustained casualties, including one fatality, on Friday after Houthi militia forces targeted resistance positions in the Al-Hudaydah and Al-Burah sectors, prompting a retaliatory response that suppressed the sources of fire.

According to media outlets affiliated with the National Resistance, their forces operating on the West Coast neutralized Houthi firing positions on the morning of Eid al-Fitr, inflicting human and material losses upon the militia.

The Houthi militia reportedly launched attacks on military sites within the Al-Hudaydah and Al-Burah axes during the early hours of Friday morning, employing mortar shells and unmanned aerial vehicles. This assault resulted in the martyrdom of one soldier and injuries to nine others.

The National Resistance confirmed that its units stationed on the contact lines responded decisively to the Houthi aggression, effectively suppressing the firing sources through concentrated strikes that achieved direct hits against militia personnel.

Furthermore, National Resistance artillery successfully targeted and inflicted direct damage upon a forward command and control center utilized by the militia south of Al-Hudaydah.
