UAE Dismantles Terror Network Funded by Hezbollah and Iran Targeting National Economy

The UAE State Security Agency has announced the successful dismantling of a terrorist network managed and financed by Lebanon's Hezbollah and Iran, confirming the apprehension of all involved operatives.

A statement issued via the Emirates News Agency indicated that this network was operating within the country under the guise of fictitious commercial entities, with the explicit objective of infiltrating the national economy and executing external agendas aimed at destabilizing the nation's financial security.

The Agency detailed that the network conducted operations violating established economic and legal regulations, including money laundering and the financing of terrorist activities. These actions were reportedly executed in adherence to a "pre-prepared strategic plan coordinated with external parties linked to Hezbollah and Iran," thereby constituting a direct threat to state security.

The Emirati State Security stressed that any attempts to exploit civil or national economic institutions for conspiratorial or terrorist purposes will be met with resolute force, affirming zero tolerance for external interference that compromises the security and stability of the state, irrespective of the source or the facade employed.

This announcement follows closely on the heels of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior revealing the apprehension of a Hezbollah-affiliated "terrorist cell" comprising 14 Kuwaiti nationals and two Lebanese individuals, accused of plotting to destabilize internal security and recruit members for the organization.
