Security Operation in Hadramout Leads to Arrests After Stray Bullet Injuries

Security forces in the Ghayl Ba Wazir district of Hadramout Governorate, in coordination with the Shuhaire police, conducted a security campaign on Thursday evening that resulted in the apprehension of several individuals involved in firing weapons and inciting disorder across several neighborhoods.

The operation, supervised by the Director of Security for Ghayl Ba Wazir, Colonel Awad bin Akkas Al-Awthani, successfully detained suspects accused of terrorizing citizens, disturbing public peace, and illegally possessing firearms without permits. The detainees have been placed in custody pending the necessary legal proceedings.

The General Command of Security and Police, represented by Brigadier General Abdulaziz Al-Jabri, affirmed its resolve to rigorously continue security campaigns and show no leniency toward any practices that undermine security and stability. The Command emphasized the need to implement deterrent legal measures against all those proven complicit in such acts.

Furthermore, the security leadership called upon community committee heads and local residents to enhance cooperation with security agencies and report any violations or transgressions to support ongoing efforts to preserve security, stability, and community protection across all districts.
