Government Forces Down Houthi Drone in Ma'rib's Ragwan District

Government forces successfully intercepted and downed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) belonging to the Houthi militia in a combat zone within Yemen's northeastern Ma'rib Governorate.

A local source confirmed that army air defenses managed to neutralize the Houthi reconnaissance drone on Wednesday over the "Al-La'iraf" front, situated in the Ragwan district, northwest of the governorate.

This successful interception occurs amidst ongoing escalation, as the militia continues its assaults against government military positions across several fronts, frequently violating the existing, albeit undeclared, truce agreements.

The incident adds to regional tensions already marked by maritime incidents, including a fire aboard a Thai tanker in the Strait of Hormuz and subsequent reports indicating disruptions to maritime traffic in the critical waterway.
