Israel has confirmed the elimination of four high-ranking officials belonging to the Quds Force, the external operations arm of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in a targeted operation against a hotel in Beirut, Lebanon, within the past few hours.

This development, reported by sources including Iran International, signifies a qualitative escalation in Israel's direct targeting of Iranian leaders involved in managing regional operations, particularly those concerning Lebanon and Palestine.

According to the Israeli source, the identities of the four deceased officials, who held sensitive positions within the Quds Force hierarchy, have been established. They include Majid Hosseini, who served as the head of the financial branch within the "Lebanon Department," and Ali Piazar, the head of the intelligence branch also within the "Lebanon Department."

The leadership losses further encompass Ahmad Rasouli, who headed the intelligence section of the "Palestine Department," alongside Hossein Ahmadloo, who was directly responsible for the "Israel" file within the "Lebanon Department."

This significant strike confirms Israel's ongoing strategy of targeting the Iranian leadership and infrastructure operating in neighboring countries, portending further complications in the regional security landscape.
