Intense fighting erupted across multiple fronts in Taiz Governorate on Friday, with government forces and popular resistance engaging Houthi militias. The confrontations, which saw significant aerial support, were primarily concentrated in the Al-Masrakh district, Al-Shaqab, Al-Dabab, and the vicinity of Jabal Han.

According to a statement from the Taiz Axis, battles focused on the Al-Aqrosh, Jabal Duhayḥ, and Kuhlan fronts in the Al-Masrakh district, located in the southern part of the governorate. Government forces and popular resistance engaged in fierce clashes with Houthi militias, reportedly inflicting losses on the militia ranks. The statement indicated that drone aircraft provided support for the Houthi operations.

In the Al-Shaqab front, south of Taiz city, clashes continued between the armed forces and Houthi militias. Warplanes were involved in supporting military operations, alongside ongoing ground engagements.

The western fronts, specifically Al-Dabab and the area surrounding Jabal Han, experienced intermittent confrontations between the two sides, reflecting persistent military tension along the lines of contact.

In a related development, government warplanes conducted nine airstrikes targeting Houthi militia positions and gatherings. These strikes were directed at the western entrance of Taiz city, the Al-Masrakh district, and the Al-Shaqab front, as detailed in the official statement.

These developments underscore the ongoing escalation of military operations and reciprocal attacks across various fronts in Taiz Governorate.
