Coalition Intercepts Six Houthi Ballistic Missiles Targeting Taif and Yanbu

The Saudi-led coalition announced the successful interception and destruction of six ballistic missiles launched by Houthi militants towards the cities of Taif and Yanbu.

Brigadier General Turki Al-Malki, the official spokesperson for the coalition forces supporting legitimacy in Yemen, confirmed that air defense forces thwarted the hostile attempt to strike the two Saudi cities.

Al-Malki emphasized that these actions demonstrate the Houthi militia's persistent disregard for international laws and their continued targeting of civilians and vital infrastructure within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He underscored that such hostile acts necessitate a firm response.

The coalition spokesperson reiterated that the coalition command will continue to implement all stringent and necessary measures to address this ongoing escalation by the Houthi militias. These actions are intended to ensure the protection of the Kingdom's territory and neutralize the threats posed by the group to regional and international security.
