Coalition Reports 13 Civilians Injured in Houthi Attacks on Saudi Cities

The official spokesperson for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Major General Turki Al-Malki, announced that the Houthi militia continues to carry out deliberate and systematic attacks targeting civilian objects and individuals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Major General Al-Malki stated that on Monday, September 14, 2026, the Houthi militia launched hostile attacks using ballistic missiles and explosive-laden drones that struck the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif. These assaults resulted in injuries to 13 civilians, ranging from minor to moderate, in addition to material damage to seven residential homes and two vehicles.

The spokesperson affirmed that the recurrence of these hostile operations reflects the Houthi militia's approach and extremist ideology of continuous escalation against civilians and protected objects under international law. He noted that the joint forces command of the coalition is addressing these violations responsibly and decisively to ensure the protection of the Kingdom's sovereignty and the safety of its citizens and residents.

Major General Al-Malki emphasized that the coalition will take all necessary operational measures to deter the terrorist militia and confront its hostile approach, in accordance with the provisions of Article 51 of the United Nations Charter concerning the right to self-defense, and in compliance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
