Yemeni Army Conducts Airstrikes and Artillery Barrages Against Houthi Positions

Yemeni Armed Forces have released footage showcasing a series of aerial and artillery operations targeting Houthi militia sites, fortifications, and gatherings across multiple northern and western fronts.

The armed forces stated that the drone aviation unit of the Emergency Brigades in the Second Division carried out strikes against Houthi militia concentrations, elements, and barracks in the Baqem district, north of Saada Governorate.

In another front, artillery of the Third Military Region, concurrent with drone operations by the Third Brigade of the Seventh Emergency Division, targeted Houthi positions and fortifications in the confrontation front.

In Marib Governorate, the armed forces reported that the drone aviation unit of the Sixth Brigade conducted two raids in the Al-Kassara front, northwest of the governorate. The first strike targeted a Houthi command and control center, while the second strike hit a field commander of the militia along with several escorts, according to the armed forces. The armed forces also announced another airstrike that targeted a militia military barracks, in addition to striking Houthi gatherings and a heavy supply vehicle.

In Hajjah Governorate, the armed forces reported that aircraft from the Fifth Military Region targeted a strategic Houthi militia site in the Al-Tineh area of the Medi district.

These operations come amid intermittent military escalation across several Yemeni fronts, with ongoing clashes and reciprocal strikes between government forces and the Houthi militia in various parts of the country.
