Government forces have secured a significant strategic advance in the southwestern governorate of Taiz, capturing the vital Jabal Nu'man in the Jabal Habashi front. This progress coincided with the successful thwarting of multiple Houthi infiltration attempts and attacks across various fronts in the Al-Shamaytayn district.

Field sources reported that confrontations were concentrated in several locations in the south and west of the governorate. Intense fighting occurred in the Sharira area of the Rasin front in Al-Shamaytayn district, where government troops managed to regain territorial positions and prevent any Houthi advances.

In the Bani Omar front, within the same district, government forces compelled Houthi elements to retreat from the outskirts of Al-Ajram area. The Houthi forces were pushed back to their positions on Jabal Al-Mirzam, adjacent to Al-Ghayl area, under the pressure of fire from troops stationed on the nearby highlands.

Furthermore, government forces successfully repelled Houthi infiltration attempts in the Jabal Jardad front. The attackers were decisively broken and forced to withdraw, while a state of high alert and combat readiness persists along all active front lines.

This escalation follows the recent territorial gains by government forces in the Jabal Habashi front, as military movements and intermittent clashes with Houthi militias continue in the southern and western fronts of Taiz.
