The Houthi militia has intensified recruitment efforts across several controlled regions, mobilizing fighters from Sana'a, Dhamar, and Ibb provinces towards the Al-Jawf and Western Coast fronts. Security sources informed Khabar Agency that the militia has initiated mobilization campaigns in areas of Sana'a, overseen by a Houthi official known as "Al-Mas'oudi" in the Qaa' al-Qaydi and Sanhan districts. Similar movements are occurring concurrently in Dhamar and Ibb governorates, with the stated objective of reinforcing the Western Coast fronts with new personnel. Houthi leadership has reportedly instructed local supervisors to escalate recruitment and mobilization drives. Particular emphasis is being placed on engaging young men, adolescents, and minors, allegedly luring them to join the ranks and subsequently deploying them to areas of conflict and tension. These mobilization activities coincide with a notable escalation on the Al-Barih front in the Muqbanah district. National Resistance forces successfully repelled a large-scale offensive launched by the Houthi militia, resulting in significant casualties, including dozens killed and wounded, according to military sources. |
