Houthi militias have initiated a campaign of abductions across residential areas in the capital, Sanaa, targeting dozens of individuals returning from front lines who have refused to redeploy.

Local sources reported that militia elements carried out raids and abductions in various neighborhoods of the capital, detaining several young men, including those who had returned from combat zones. These actions were reportedly taken after the individuals resisted Houthi pressure to return to the fighting, leading to their transfer to detention facilities.

In a related development, residents of the Hazeiz neighborhood in southern Sanaa stated that Houthi militias abducted several young men from the area. Additionally, Houthi elements, accompanied by individuals identified as "Zaynabiyyat," raided a home in the same neighborhood, alleging that the residents were involved in unauthorized filming. During the raid, mobile phones belonging to the homeowners were confiscated.

These measures, according to sources, are part of the militia's intensified security grip on residential areas. The group is reportedly pursuing dissidents and those who reject its policies, coinciding with efforts to mobilize more fighters, particularly children and young men, for redeployment to the front lines.
