Intense fighting has intensified between government forces and Houthi militias in the Al-Burah and Muqbanah fronts west of Taiz province, marked by reciprocal artillery shelling and rapid military movements across several axes.

Sources from the field reported that forces affiliated with the National Resistance launched artillery strikes targeting Houthi positions and gatherings in the Al-Burah, Al-Kamb, and Rasyan areas. These engagements have continued since dawn, with subsequent explosions heard in the vicinity of Al-Burah and Muqbanah, their echoes reaching adjacent regions.

According to local sources, the Houthi militia deployed military reinforcements to the area in an attempt to breach the front lines. However, sources close to the government forces stated that these attempts were met with resistance, resulting in significant Houthi casualties.

Field sources also reported the death of a Houthi commander, identified as Colonel Ali Al-Khulani, also known as "Abu Rajem." The bodies of several Houthi fighters were reportedly transported to Al-Burah Rural Hospital.

In a related development, field sources observed Houthi militia movements and reinforcements departing from Al-Rahedah city towards the Karsh and Hayfan fronts. These reinforcements are said to include heavy military vehicles and equipment.

These developments occur amidst a backdrop of increasing tension along the lines of contact in southern and western Taiz, as both government forces and Houthi militias continue to reinforce their positions and heighten their readiness in anticipation of further escalation.
