Elderly Woman Dies, Daughter Injured in Yemen House Collapse Due to Heavy Rains

An elderly woman has died and her daughter sustained serious injuries after their old house collapsed in the Jabal Habashi district of Taiz governorate, Yemen, due to heavy rainfall.

Local sources reported that an aged residential structure in the Bani Khaila area of Jabal Habashi crumbled onto its occupants on Monday afternoon, following torrential rains. The deceased has been identified as Musak Mohammed Jassar, who died at the scene.

The daughter of the deceased suffered severe injuries in the incident and has been transported for medical treatment. Her condition is described as critical.
