Armed clashes broke out on Tuesday evening in the city of Rada'a, Al Bayda province, which is under Houthi militia control. The confrontations arose after the militia attempted to forcibly seize a plot of land located near the Daabash building, adjacent to Al Salam Hospital.

Local sources reported that tribal fighters from the Abu Sarimah family confronted elements belonging to the Houthi militia. The militia had deployed military vehicles to secure the alleged land seizure and commence excavation work on the property using heavy machinery.

According to the sources, the Houthi militia brought in an affiliated individual named "Al-Azzani," claiming the land belonged to him as a pretext for the appropriation. However, tribal fighters rejected these actions, viewing them as an attempt to impose a fait accompli through force of arms, which consequently led to the outbreak of fighting in the vicinity of the site.

As of now, there has been no confirmation of casualties resulting from the confrontations. The Houthi militia has not issued any official statement regarding the circumstances of the incident.
