The Houthi militia has significantly intensified its military and security activities in recent hours, recalling all its elements, including those on leave, and dispatching military reinforcements via troop transport vehicles towards the fronts of Al Jawf and Marib governorates amidst escalating field tensions. Informed sources revealed that the militia has raised the state of readiness in areas under its control and implemented security alerts in the streets of the de facto capital, Sana'a. This has been accompanied by the establishment of additional checkpoints and the tightening of search and security measures for citizens. According to the sources, these movements are driven by the militia's concerns over potential field developments, with rising military tensions and the possibility of renewed confrontations on several fronts, coinciding with ongoing Houthi mobilization and recruitment operations. This escalation occurs as the Al-Karama encampments in the Al Rayyan area, Khab and Ash Sha'af district of Al Jawf Governorate, enter their fourth week of continuous tribal gathering. This response follows a call for mobilization issued by Sheikh Hamad bin Rashid bin Fadgham Al Hazmi Al Dahmi. Tribal delegations from various governorates continue to arrive, underscoring the Houthi militia's intransigence and refusal to address the legitimate demands put forth by the Yemeni tribes. |
