Security forces in Aden, specifically the Dar Saad district police, have uncovered a significant quantity of high explosives and explosive belts concealed within a property in the Al-Musa'aben area. Intelligence suggests a connection to elements associated with the terrorist Amjad Khalid.

Colonel Musleh Al-Dharhani, the director of the Dar Saad police station, stated that the operation was initiated following precise security intelligence. This led to a raid on the location, supervised by forensic evidence teams and bomb disposal experts. The operation resulted in the seizure of "C4" explosives stored in plastic containers, along with several suicide belts and an artillery shell converted into an explosive device, intended for terrorist acts.

Al-Dharhani confirmed that forensic and explosives experts handled the confiscated items according to established technical and security procedures. The materials were collected and secured in the presence of local community leaders and social figures before being transferred to the relevant authorities for legal and technical processing.

He emphasized that this operation represents a new preemptive strike against terrorist plans aimed at destabilizing security and stability in Aden. Al-Dharhani asserted that security agencies will continue their preemptive operations, pursuing terrorist and lawless elements, and eradicating the sources of terrorism, with no tolerance for any threat to public safety and community well-being.

He added that security forces have recently dismantled several cells and apprehended individuals linked to Amjad Khalid, who were involved in planning or executing terrorist and sabotage acts targeting the security of Dar Saad district and Aden. Efforts will persist until these cells are eliminated and all involved parties are brought before the judicial authorities to face justice under the law.
