Sheikh Hamad bin Rashid bin Fadgham Al-Hazmi has issued a deadline to the Houthi militia for the release of Mira Saddam Hussein and the return of her property, emphasizing that the matter is a tribal issue of honor and dignity.

During a large gathering of Yemeni delegations and tribes at Al-Rayan pastures in the Khab wa Al-Sha'af district, east of Al-Jawf Governorate, Sheikh Al-Hazmi stated that his primary concern is the liberation of Mira Saddam Hussein, who he claims has sought his assistance. He described the situation as a matter of "honor and dignity" and purely tribal.

Al-Hazmi stressed that the issue carries no political dimensions and is unrelated to any party involved in the Yemeni conflict. His demands are limited to the handover of Mira Saddam Hussein to Al-Rayan pastures, located in government-controlled areas, along with the restitution of all her possessions and rights.

The Sheikh reiterated his warning against what he described as the Houthi militia's attempts to erase tribal identity and disrespect tribal leaders and members in areas under their control, considering these practices a threat to established tribal customs and traditions.

He confirmed that failure to comply with the demand for Mira Saddam Hussein's release in the coming days could lead to tribal escalation, indicating that the issue would then transform into a "battle of dignity" between the tribes of Al-Matrah and the Houthi militia.
