Sheikh Hamad bin Rashed bin Fadgham Al-Hazmi has revealed details of severe pressures and violations he endured while under Houthi militia control, following his arrival in areas controlled by the legitimate government in the Al-Rayan region, east of Al-Jawf Governorate. Upon reaching the territories of the "Bani Nauf - Al-Maraziq" tribes, Sheikh Al-Hazmi directly accused prominent Houthi militia leaders, including Abu Ali Al-Hakim, Fares Manaa, and Ali Hussein Al-Houthi, of exerting intense pressure to force him to confess to charges he claims he did not commit and has no connection to. Al-Hazmi stated that he was subjected to continuous torture in prison for fifty days and was denied medical care, even when transferred to a hospital during his illness. He clarified that previous statements made before his release were under duress and constituted false testimony, which he was compelled to give to ensure his personal safety and protect "Mira Saddam Hussein," reaffirming that she is the daughter of the former Iraqi President. In a significant escalation reflecting prevailing tribal customs, Sheikh Hamad bin Fadgham Al-Hazmi symbolically broke his "jambiya" (dagger) in front of attendees in the Al-Rayan region. This ancient Yemeni tribal custom signifies a call to arms and a tribal mobilization directed at the Daham, Bakil, Hashid, Madhaj, and all Yemeni tribes. Sheikh Al-Hazmi called upon all Yemeni tribes to converge, support him, and stand by his side to avenge his dignity and confront the violations. He concluded his statement by declaring, "By God, I will remain steadfast, and I will not return except through great combat," indicating his resolve to confront the Houthis. |
